Autarch WIP

Here is a work in progress for my Autarch.

Striking Scorpions

Ok so here is a repaint update. My striking scorpions are 99% done, I just need to do the eyes and a few details more on the exarch. I have two tournamnts this month, one on the 10th in Petawawa and one on the 24th in North Bay. I really hope I can get most of my stuff done for these tournaments. Next up.. You guessed it, Warp Spiders!

DIY - Basing With Sand

Just a little video on how I go about basing my models.

I find some sand in the back yard, make sure its fine sand. Bake the sand at about 225'F to kill any nasties in it. I'll water down some glue and brush it on the base then dip the model's base into the sand. Shake off the excess and you're done. Paint it up add some green stuff vines if you like, have fun with it! remember to try this before you base coat your models makes life much easier.

So here are my first two squads repainted. Wow this it taking a little longer then I expected but I'm really happy with the result. Just have to finish the eyes.

Next will be my Autarch, Striking Scorpions and Warp Spiders. Then the tanks and a few other unit upgrades like Warlocks.

Game Summit 2010!

Just a quick video of the 2010 Game Summit in Ottawa Ontario!!

Game summit 2010 Apoc Battle 50k!

Here is the Midnight Apocalypse battle @ the Game Summit I've run for the past 3 years. First year we had about 16 K, Second year we had about 30k This year we had 50,000!!!!!! The battle was to end the Locara campaign. Xenos won!

If it wasn't for the Dark Eldar stratagem we would have had a much harder time.

The New Colours of Anasinia

So I've finally found a colour scheme I like. I'm priming black, painting shadow grey and dry brushing ice blue. For the gems I'm using scorpion green and a mix of scorpion green and space wolf grey. The face plates are space wolf grey and the bases are bestial brown with a dry brush mix of bestial brown and space wolf grey.
