The Battle for Phobos - Warhammer 40,000 Apocalypse Game

Who can play: The game starts Saturday at 3:00 pm and will run until 11:00pm/12:00am. Anyone that has paid for the event ($6.00) and has painted (3 colours and based) models,

How many Points? Bring your army in 500 point blocks, if your super heavy is over 500 points bring some units to bring the total to 1000 points.

What should I bring? Super heavies are very welcome, standard 40k models (It may be an idea to take something that can take out a super heavy just in case) Please don’t bring more models then you can handle moving and rolling for in a turn.

Are my own creations welcome? Scratch builds that are reasonable are quite welcome but must be based and have 3 colours. Pepsi can as a dreadnought isn’t going to cut it.

What is this all about? This is a huge game of 40k using the Apoc rules set.

Is there a points cap per person or team? Not currently but again please only bring as many models as you can roll and move in a turn.

What will this look like? It will be four 6x4 tables in a square, so one 12x8 table. Expect to see between 20-25 buildings arranged on the table with streets in between them wide enough to accommodate a Baneblade. In addition the table will be about 6" of clear space to allow for easier deployment.

Teams how will that work? Points will be calculated and two teams will be made from the people that have arrived. 5 strategic assets will be allowed per side but No assets with formations. Flank march is acceptable but only one army per side can use it, no jammers will be allowed.
What are we fighting for? You’ll be fighting over control of the “The Three” (http://gamesummit.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?f=96&t=6267) thought control of specific objectives on the table. Objectives will count towards campaign credit as well.

Force Org Charts do they matter? Nope not at all, troops will be required to hold objectives.
